The International Collaborative Essay Competition (ICEC) is an academic initiative brought by ELSA Finland, ELSA Hungary, ELSA Spain and ELSA United Kingdom, aimed at enhancing your legal research and writing skills while raising awareness about pressing global issues. This year’s topic is ‘The Right to a Healthy Environment’.

Open to law students from any ELSA National Group, the competition encourages scholarship, discussion and engagement with current legal challenges.

Essay must be original work, no longer than 2,000 words, written in British English with proper citations. Show us your research, your argument and your perspective.
